We can document with hard proof that Franchise Tax Board is running several bona fide criminal aschemes. Since the State of California is uninterested in doing anything to stop the crimes, we are going to file a Federal Class Action Criminal Complaint. This is a written summary of the criminal activities we can document. Details are here:
*Non-Filing Penalties, AKA Frivolous Filer Penalties. This is a $5,000 penalty imposed on people who did file their tax returns, but FTB did not like the tax returns for some reason and rejected the return as “invalid.”
*FTB misapplying estimated tax payments, then charging penalties, fees, and interest for “underpaying” when the account would have been paid in full had it not been for FTB’s “mistake.”
*FTB receiving estimated tax payments by the due date, but not applying the money at the time you made the payment. If you file late, FTB charges Demand Penalties, fees and interest that could not have been imposed if FTB had applied the payments upon receipt of funds.

This is NOT a request for monetary reimbursement or monetary damages, so joining will garner no financial benefit to you. This Complaint is a demand that the Federal government step in and intervene to stop FTB’s criminal activities. The more people who join in, the more likely the Federal Government will have no choice but to intervene. This Complaint is an effort by “we the people” to take control of our taxation agency back from the corrupt politicians and state employees who knowingly allow these illegal schemes to continue.
